The Warriors, Giants, A’s, 49ers, Sharks, Quakes, and Roots agree

Throughout this effort, I’ve been saying over and over that the team we’re building together to pass Yes on Prop 16 is incredible — and today, we added a few new members.

Well, a few new teams to the team: the San Francisco 49ers, Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Giants, Oakland A’s, San Jose Sharks, San Jose Quakes, and Oakland Roots. Each of these teams is committed to winning this November, because if we’re going to live up to our reputation as a golden state with golden opportunities, we can and should do more to remove the systemic barriers that shut out Californians from a shot at a better life.

Each of these teams has been dedicated to building something better for the hometowns they represent — and that continues now, with their endorsement of Yes on Prop 16.

These incredible athletes and team executives know that Prop 16 is how we guarantee a fundamental promise to everyone who calls California home: that no matter what you look like, how you came to California, or who you are, you have every opportunity to build a successful life, and to thrive.

And they know that — like all good teamwork — when we work together, we can make magic happen. That’s why I’m hoping you’ll join them in showing support for Yes on Prop 16, and help get out the news of this incredible endorsement by the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Giants, Oakland A’s, San Francisco 49ers, San Jose Sharks, San Jose Quakes, and Oakland Roots.

This is incredible momentum, and we have to seize on it: Will you chip in $5 or more right now to make sure voters hear about the strength of this movement to pass Yes on Prop 16?
